Working around electricity is one of the leading causes of workplace injuries. According to OSHA, electrical hazards cause over 2,000 injuries and nearly 300 fatalities in the U.S. every year. Many of these incidents are preventable when workers are trained to recognize hazards and follow safe practices.
The NFPA 70E Workplace Electrical Safety Course provides workers and supervisors with the knowledge needed to recognize electrical hazards and work safely around energized equipment.
This course focuses on electrical safety practices, hazard identification, and proper protective measures to reduce the risk of shock, arc flash, and other electrical injuries in the workplace.
Participants will learn key topics including electrical hazard awareness, arc flash and arc blast risks, safe work practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and the proper use of electrical personal protective equipment (PPE).
